Routine data

This Working Group is intended to address the issues encountered by statisticians working on fairly complex, routine datasets. We aim to provide a networking group for statistical researchers involved in the analysis of either established databases or routine data that has not been pre-processed. We run events and provide resources for statisticians to share experience on issues such as routine data access and linkage, coding, and analysis.

The Group has organised a number of meetings, including:

  • Overcoming Challenges in Emulating Target Trials using Routine Data (14/10/2024)
  • Analysis of classification problems using machine learning and statistical methodologies in routine data (03/07/2023)
  • New Horizons in Routine Data Sources (18/05/2022)

The Group has also put together a collection of useful resources.
