NIHR Statistics Conference 2025
We are excited to share that plans are underway for the NIHR Statistics Group Conference 2025. The Conference will take place in Sheffield from the 19th to the 20th of June 2025 with hybrid attendance possible for attendees only. All presenters of the breakout sessions are expected to attend in person. Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting, but it will be of special relevance to statisticians, data scientists and those with an active interest in statistics and data science.
Our keynote speakers are Rebecca Walwyn, Sylwia Bujkiewicz and Nick Jakubovics.
We are also delighted to share that members, working groups and associated groups have an opportunity to submit a proposal for a breakout session. The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Bringing theory into practise – throughout health and care research’ and we welcome proposals from cross-disciplinary and/or cross-sector focused teams working together. Areas may include, but are not limited to, best practice in cross-disciplinary research that brings statistical expertise into health and care applications, team science practices, research inclusion, mixed methods research practices, patient and public involvement and engagement activities, collaboration with stakeholders, leadership and cultural models to enhance collaboration within new research frontiers, design and implementation of research tools and generating impact in health and care.

All accepted posters will be submitted as posters in an electronic format (PDF, JPEG, PNG, etc.) which will be available for attendees to view online.
Authors can also opt for a 3-minute rapid-fire talk. Delegates attending online can also opt to deliver a 3-minute rapid-fire talk live online.
